Another Dutch battle.........in France

The French League starts traditionally with first round played in Paris with all teams participating in 6 matches. 2 days topvolleyball in 'Pierre de Coubertin' sportcentre in Paris. Last match, played Saturday October 15th was the battle between the 'Dutchies'.

The Dutchies are both playing as Middleblocker. In team of Venelles started Deborah van Daelen (1st year in France) and in team of Mulhouse started Nicole Koolhaas (2nd year in France).

Two hours and fifteen minutes exciting volleyball made the team of Venelles winner of this match. The final result 3-2 (25-14 , 25-22 , 14-25 , 20-25 , 15-13) was a big surprise. Venelles started this match as underdog.

Deborah van Daelen was the happy player, her teammate Ivana Curcic got the MVP title in this match. Nicole Koolhaas and her team can go for the victory on Wednesday October 19th when the second round in ProA France will be played.
